Embracing Accusation

Sorry I haven’t posted in so long. It has been a whirwind summer. I was reminded of this song today and just had to share it. Most of you have probably heard it by now, but perhaps someone will see this and hear it for the first time. I am a HUGE Shane and Shane fan, but regardless of that, I believe this to be one of the most powerful songs ever written. I had the amazing opportunity to hear this at a convention before it was even released on CD. I remember the feeling of awe that came upon me as the song ended…and it really had nothing to do with Shane and Shane, even though there are few that can voice a song like they can! It had everything to do with who God is, and what He has done through Christ; that I have been made the righteousness of God through Him!

So, I hope you will take a few minutes and listen to it. I have listed two videos. The first is Shane Bernard explaining how he came to write the song, which is powerful in itself. Then the second is of the song, with the words so you can clearly receive the message.

If you are seeing this from facebook, you can watch the videos on my blog. Just click HERE.
