As I have stated before, it is really hard to be shocked by something that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says. As disturbed as I am by her most recent statement about how pouring money into various “family planning” organizations will mean less babies, which will then benefit the economy, I find myself thinking that at least she says what she is thinking. I mean, so many people try to mask what they are really thinking. But anyway, really!? I mean, that is how these pro-abortionists are going to begin to justify abortion-on-demand legislation? A statement like this is just flat-out scary!
Instead of blaming this economic crisis on the number of children being born and promoting some sort of population controlled solution to the crisis, perhaps it’s about time that Washington begins to look in the mirror! The way I see it, seeking to replace the culture of corruption with one of morality might be a good place to start. This is nothing short of a horrible attempt at emotional manipulation. Pelosi is simply pressing on the depression that has resulted from our current economic status to shed a positive light on the fact that our tax money is now providing funds for legalized baby murders. Call it what you will, Madam Speaker, and color it any shade you desire, but abortion is the most heinous form of murder that victimizes the most innocent of all life. If forced to choose between a thriving economy and a baby’s right to life, I vote for the latter every single time, no matter how much financial unrest it might bring me and my family. The problem is, the two choices have little to do with one another. The same governmental funds that have been going to provide welfare programs for parents will now be going to pay for the termination of pregnancies.
It was a sad day, when on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade court decision President Obama lifted that ban. I guess we better prepare to hear more asinine quotes like this one over the next several years. Below is a link to the full story about Pelosi’s comments.
